Hi i have had my gastric band since 2007 and have been up and down with my weight i originally lost 4 and half stone but then fell pregnant and put 7 stone on!! they made me have my band emptied when i was pregnant now i have had my baby i have had my band filled once. i usually go to a private clinic in telford because i had my band fitted in belgium and dont really have any kind of after care at all in the uk!! i live in staffordshire but when i went to telford they informed me there prices had gone upto £150 per ml you have in. can anyone tell me is this expensive?? Also does anyone know where i can get more fills i can travel but the closer the better. really deperate for another 3mls has this is pretty much my ideal restriction please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks everyone jennyxxxx |

- lucy lastic : Thank you ndully for your response. I have read the pack over and over but I guess it will fall into place as I start on Wednesday. I was thinking of doing the slim fast drinks for 2 meals then a 350 calorie meal. Do you know anyone who has done the pre op diet this way and if so, were they succassfull? I need to lose between 6.5kg and 13kg in the next 4 weeks.
- ndully : is it normal to find it a bit difficult when swallowing something after gastric band op
