Hi to all of my bandster friends. I am 41 year old woman, married, with a 6 year old son. Since birth of my son, I developed Fibromyalgia and medicines and reduced level of activity caused my weight to increases steady over 5 years, despite ww diets, all kinds of pills, Reductil, Xenical and number of nutrition courses. I came to conclusion that if I don’t want to end up like my parents with diabetes, weight problems and lots of joint pains, I have to do something. Working in NHS, has made me believe that one shouldn’t use the resources unless no other choice exists. I have cancer patients that don’t get the medicine to give them some more months, so I had to find a way to pay for my band op. BMI gives you 12 months interest free option that I took. Now 4 days after op. I am still very uncomfortable and have hunger pain! But do not doubt that any one in their right mind, going through so much pain and misery, really want to make a change and want not to be FAT any more. stories from very few, about having choc, ice-cream, and high calorie food really make me believe that all of these problems after one have made the choice and done the op, is more mental and psychology will never stuff my face gain no matter. What is the point of all this ops, pain, etc if we are going to continue as before. I pray for all of us. Good luck to us all
