Hi Everyone, I am very new to this site and just wanted to write a bit about whats going on. I am going into the nuffield hospital in brentwood on 17/12/10 to have my surgery. I am 20 years old and weigh in at 23 stone 12 pounds. i have tried all different diets and pills and nothing ever works for me i am scared of dying through obesity and want to live a normal and healthy life instead of carrying an extra person around with me for the rest of it. I am so excited to be having this done and a little nervous but it needs to be done otherwise only god knows what will happen. The nhs would not fund it for me because of my age which i think was ridiculous so i had to pay private for it but i know it will be so worth it. If anyone has any advice for me i will be very grateful speak to you all soon :)
